North Horizon is pleased to announce another donation of $100,000 to Scarborough Health Network (SHN) in support of vital community and medical initiatives. This brings their total commitment to date to $200,000. This donation ensures continued funding of the Bridletowne Neighbourhood Centre, a much-needed hub bringing vital programs, healthcare, and inclusive spaces together under one roof as a leading example of community-based wrap-around care.

North Horizon's donation will support the Bridletowne Neighbourhood Centre, helping to create a community hub for the prevention, management and treatment of diabetes and chronic kidney diseases. SHN will be able to expand its hemodialysis and chronic kidney disease programs with 45 dialysis treatment stations and nine home-training stations. Offering dialysis outside of a hospital setting is a holistic approach to chronic disease treatment and management that will change the health outcomes for patients.
